April is a former designer and project manager, turned National Board Certified-Health & Wellness Coach, who specializes in stress management, healthy and sustainable weight loss, and sleep optimization. She is passionate about helping women optimize their health, reduce their stress levels, and nourish their bodies from the inside out so they can be the best version of themselves, feel their best, and regain their health.
Her passion for health and wellness began when her father was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer at 49. Devastated, she wanted to understand what factors (beside genetics) could have been to blame. She was also burning the candle at both ends and starting to experience her own chronic health challenges. As she dove into researching healthy lifestyles, she began focusing on a whole foods lifestyle, and began making movement and mindfulness a part of her every day lifestyle, which improved her entire quality of life.
This has been a personal journey for April which is why she’s fiercely passionate about helping others. She’s a firm believer that our biggest hardships and heartaches in life can become our biggest passions and catalyst for change. No matter what we go through in life, there’s always a silver lining. Having dealt with chronic health issues herself, she understands how powerful it is to have an advocate and health coach on your side.
