You might know that I love to work on meal planning with my clients. It’s one of my favorite things to do. But even with great planning skills, you might still find yourself at the drive-thru window occasionally, and that’s ok. Maybe you are even planning for fast food once a week.
Fast food and drive-thrus seem to have no room in a lifestyle focused on health and wellness, but that’s not entirely true. Sometimes you will have to compromise to keep your sanity. Our lives are busy, and our schedules are tight.

Has digestive discomfort ever caused you not to enjoy a day or a special occasion the way you planned?
How smoothly your digestion works can truly make or break your day, especially when you deal with chronic discomfort. Constant acid reflux, bloating, gas, or nausea are things you don't want to have to deal with ever -- much less daily. I have some good news: You can make a few routine shifts to leave your digestive systems feeling a lot more regulated, and it'll be worth your while to explore these and find what works best for you. Eating a nutritious diet is one of the most important factors in living a long, healthy life. A well balanced and healthy diet plays a key role in reducing the risk of illnesses, boosting energy levels, improving moods, and enhancing overall well-being.
A couple of months ago, during a coaching conversation I asked my client what she would like to focus on during the session, and she said: “I think I am suffering from cooking fatigue, is that a thing?”
Her comment took me back to the days when I would cringe when my kids asked: “What's for dinner, Mom?” It was a question that could take me from being totally fine to all stressed out in an instant. Can you relate? Do you ever hear people complain about feeling tired and exhausted? Maybe it’s you who feels that way? Fatigue is a problem that affects people everywhere, no matter the age or background. Sleep disruptions can come from long work hours, stressful school schedules, inconsistent sleep patterns or general stress and anxiety. Whatever the cause, chronic fatigue can seriously impact your ability to function normally.
