I’m a mom. I’m a business owner. Some days that’s a LOT, other days I feel wonderful freedom and flexibility. On any given day, though, it takes a conscious effort to check in with myself to see what I need.

We get asked all the time, “What do you eat in a day?” The perception is largely that as health coaches we eat perfectly, exercise perfectly, and live perfectly zen lives. In reality, we are real human beings. We drink adult beverages, we eat sugary treats, and there are plenty of days exercise just doesn’t happen.
How have you been eating lately? Most people answer this question with an explanation of their diet, by listing specific foods that they eat, and maybe sharing whether or not they think they should be eating them.
