professional background
Bree’s career in the healthcare world has largely been on the medical device side, with responsibilities in marketing, sales, clinical education, and clinical study support. This diverse experience opened her eyes to the importance of better, individualized interventions for healthy behavior.
After witnessing so much disease in our medical system, most resulting from poor lifestyle, Bree developed a strong interest in health promotion and prevention, and earned her Master's in Public Health from George Washington University in 2015.
She is highly skilled in reframing challenges into opportunities, which comes in quite handy for in her role as a health & wellness coach.
Being a natural leader, Bree loves bringing people together and fostering collaboration. After receiving the NBC-HWC credential, she noticed a gap in the professional health coaching space—one that could only be filled by a platform for connection. Along with Caitlin Boyd, she launched Virtual Health Coaches (VHC) to help board certified coaches build stronger connections, and embrace the unique culture of virtually practicing coaches with diverse professional and academic backgrounds.
We are all working toward the same goal, to help health consumers better understand what health & wellness coaching can do for them, and to empower them to take control of their own health. As our community grows, we can accomplish our collective mission better, together.

1:1 Coaching
Bree is a Duke-trained Integrative Health & Wellness coach who helps working parents and caregivers bring focus and clarity to their own health journey. She has additional training in coaching the cognitive decline patient, preventing cognitive decline and improving brain function. Bree helps people establish lifestyle changes that are attainable and sustainable, given the unique constraints and responsibilities in their lives.
On a Personal Note
Married with four kids and a golden doodle, Bree leads a very full (ehem, BUSY) life. She loves spending time with her children, even if it's just involving them in the daily responsibilities of life (who else has a 3 year old that loves to unload the dishwasher? or a 4 year old who enjoys folding laundry and putting it away—without being asked!!).
To keep a balanced and healthy life while juggling all.the.things, she prioritizes nutritious foods, a healthy mindset, and daily family walks around the neighborhood. Her two vices are coffee and wine, both organic, of course.
