Jeralyn spent many years working in a corporate environment, managing programs and people while developing ways to market products to consumers. Some notable projects were: marketing television (Dish Network & a local news station), candy, movies and cola products (Blockbuster corporate), and smartphones (multiple companies).
When that career path ended, she struggled to figure out where she wanted to be, and what she wanted in her career. When she discovered health coaching, it hit her deep down in her soul, that coaching was what she was meant to do. She’s been in practice since 2016 and loving every minute of helping people discover their paths and building her small business.

Jeralyn is an integrative health coach, trained and certified at the Duke Integrative School of Medicine. It’s her passion to show you that you can still choose health despite your busy life. Making the right choices and shifting priorities, you can see benefits including weight loss, more energy and confidence, improved relationships and less stress!
When a client has that ‘ah-ha’ moment of what their future can be with just a little bit of work and coaching help, is when Jeralyn truly knows she’s in the right place. That’s when she can see on their face that they recognize their own power; that they know in their soul that they can get there! Creating that vision is her favorite part of the process!

As a relatively unknown tool for many, Jeralyn wanted to become (and recently became) a Nationally Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach because she wanted to be a participant in legitimizing the health coaching field, so that together we can spread the word about this incredibly powerful resource for better health.

On a Personal Note
Diagnosed in 2007 with Crohn's Disease/Colitis, Jeralyn found herself battling the disease effectively for many years without having to change anything about her life. However, in 2015 the disease flared up and she was no longer able to manage it with mild medications. When the doctors recommended harsher medications, while also expressing the idea that food didn’t matter when it came to fighting it, Jeralyn paused… and did her own research. That was the moment everything changed for her. She made some lifestyle changes that included finding a new doctor, changing her diet, taking a less-harsh medication and now feels better than ever. After experiencing the profound effects of a few simple behavior changes, that’s when she knew she wanted to help others do the same. Although there is so much power in our desire to be healthy, we don't always know how to apply it to our own lives and Jeralyn wants to help her clients tap into their own power.
It may sound silly, but Jeralyn has learned a thing or two from her dog. “My dog makes me smile every day - he wakes up each day with his tail wagging, excited to see what awaits him in the backyard - like every day isn’t going to be the same thing! I wish I could be more like him… ”. Jeralyn is also a huge music-lover, whether it’s listening to music at her desk every day or sitting on the back porch with friends. She finds that music is what bonds and expands our relationships!
As a health coach, Jeralyn certainly practices what she preaches. Self-care is a huge part of her life and is what keeps her energy up to maintain momentum when things get tough. She exercises at least 4-5 times a week and does her best to eat whole foods while still enjoying life’s food joys on occasion too. She knows first hand that if we don't take care of ourselves, our tanks become empty and we have nothing left to give to others. She keeps that tank full so she can live out her passion of coaching others!
