Written by: Claudia Haller NBC-HWC Ah, spring! There’s something about this season that fills me with joy and energy. I love how nature seems to come alive…and the colors! My mother always says that nature’s colors are never as vibrant as they are in the spring, and I couldn’t agree more. Every year, I find myself marveling at how the world bursts into color, bringing a sense of renewal and freshness. It's a time for new beginnings, for cleansing, and for embracing the beauty around us.
When it’s time to go to bed, do you crash right when your head hits the pillow? Do you fall asleep with your phone in your hand in the middle of texting someone back and wake up to realize you never hit send? Or maybe you occasionally “forget” to take off your makeup because you’re just too tired? Whatever shortcuts and unhealthy habits you might practice, there are better ways to wind down and experience a relaxing evening.
In today's fast-paced world, finding balance between our careers, family life, and personal well-being can often feel like an impossible task. The constant pressure to meet the demands of our jobs while still taking care of ourselves can leave us feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. However, there are simple strategies we can implement to prioritize wellness and create a more productive and balanced day.
Sleep is such an important aspect of our health and wellbeing, yet so many struggle to get a good night’s rest. Whether you have trouble falling asleep, staying asleep or getting quality sleep, it is awful to get up in the morning feeling tired and groggy. Starting the day this way is less than ideal and more often than not it affects your mood and productivity for the rest of the day. Bummer.
Of course there can be a number of reasons that play a role in the quality of your sleep but let me share a few common ones and what you can do to fix it. It’s time to get that rest you deserve (and so desperately need)! |
